The Standard Competition Team Program
1 hour group lesson once a week from September until May. Twirlers learn to combine baton twirling skills with dance technique while focusing on working together as a team for overall unison. Attend 4 Local competitions, parades, plus Recital. NJTA Team Membership required.
The Extended Competition Team Program
1 to 1.5 hour group lesson meeting at least once a week from September until the end of July. Attendance in up to 7 competitions is required. This program provides a more concentrated focus on baton twirling and dance excellence for twirlers who wish to dedicate more of their time and effort to this sport. Our Starlets have competed in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida in solo, pairs, trio and team events earning numerous awards and titles at Local, State and Regional competitions. Attendance is mandatory at all lessons, rehearsals and competitions. NJTA and USTA Team Membership required.
Solo Competition Program
This program is designed for twirlers who wish to focus on their individual achievement and is available to all registered Starlets Twirlers. Competitive Soloists will participate in the USTA's Competitive Achievement System of Compulsories and Movement Technique from Level C to Elite as well as compete in any solo events of their choice.
Private 1 hour Lessons
are required. NJTA & USTA Individual Memberships required.
Pairs and Trio Competition Program
Designed for 2 or 3 twirlers who wish to compete together in either Duet or Trio events during the season. It is recommended that twirlers be close in age and level of ability and attend all lessons scheduled.
Semi-Private 1 hour Lessons
are required for all twirlers involved. NJTA & USTA Individual Memberships required.
New: 8-Week Sessions - Non-Competitive Program...
Want to learn to twirl, but can't commit to an entire year? Register for our 8-WEEK SESSIONS - just right for you! Learn the basic elements of baton twirling skills along with dance technique in a positive atmosphere. Students are grouped according to age and level of ability. Recital and Parade participation is encouraged, must attend at least Sessions III and IV to be eligible for Recital participation. 1 hour group lessons meeting once a week for 8 weeks.
Parade participation is encouraged for all twirlers registered in any of the above programs. See the Parades page for more details.
